Being a good MC is about understanding the people in the room, creating the right atmosphere and knowing when to keep things moving and when to step back and let the moment happen.
I'll work with you beforehand to understand how you want your reception to feel and help make it yours.
And I already know your story
If I'm also your celebrant, I'll already know how you met, the stories, the people who matter and the tone of your relationship. So when I introduce you, your family, bridal party or speakers, it isn't just an announcement. It's personal.
What I'll do as your Wedding MC
Depending on your plans, I can help create and manage the running sheet, liaise with your venue and suppliers, welcome guests, introduce the bridal party and speeches, coordinate timing with the venue and entertainment, support nervous speakers, make announcements and handle the unexpected.
Most importantly, I'll help take some of the responsibility away from you. You've got enough to think about.
A little planning goes a long way
We'll talk through the reception in detail — speeches, introductions, special moments, music, surprises and anything else you've planned. I'll make sure everyone involved understands what's happening and when, so you have fewer things to worry about on the night.
The goal? Not to be the star of the show. That's your job.
I'll keep things organised behind the scenes, bring warmth and personality to the microphone and step in when needed. Then I'll get out of the way and let you enjoy your party.
