Your wedding. Your story.
Your way.
Your wedding ceremony should feel like you — romantic, relaxed, funny, heartfelt, traditional, contemporary, or a little bit of everything.
There are a few legal things we need to take care of before your wedding, but the legal part takes just a few minutes on the day.
The rest is yours to create. I'll get to know you, listen, guide you and help create a ceremony that feels genuinely personal.
A ceremony that's
actually about you
Your story comes first
I'll take the time to understand what makes your relationship yours – the stories, people, quirks and moments that matter. While there are plenty of wedding traditions, you don't have to follow them all. Keep what means something, leave what doesn't and mix things up if you want to.
There is no template.
And it isn't about me. It's about you.

Getting to know you — and making sure we're the right fit
Based in the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie area, I create personalised wedding ceremonies across the region including the Hunter Valley, Port Stephens, Central Coast, Sydney and wider NSW.
I start with an initial meeting, face-to-face or by video, so we can get to know each other and you can decide whether I'm the right fit.
If we're a match, we'll spend more time working through your ceremony in detail, supported by a questionnaire and follow-up conversations, calls, video chats and emails whenever you need them.

Creating the perfect ceremony
Let's talk about your wedding
Tell me what you're planning, what you've imagined and what you're definitely not doing.
Your wedding, your rules
I'll bring the experience, ideas, guidance and organisation. You bring yourselves. Together, we'll create a ceremony that's personal, meaningful, memorable and unmistakably yours.
I'll write your ceremony. You make it yours.
I'll write your complete ceremony and provide a draft for you to review and refine together – unless you'd prefer to keep it as a surprise for the day.
If you're writing personal vows, I can provide examples, prompts and guidance, and review what you've written, particularly around length and tone so your vows feel right for both of you.
Your ceremony, your way.
You might include personal vows, readings, family and friends, children, music, traditions, humour or something completely unexpected. I'll help you explore the possibilities and decide what feels right.
More than the ceremony
I can also work with your venue, photographer, videographer, musicians, DJ, Wedding MC and other suppliers where needed, so everyone understands the plan and important cues.
Your rehearsal is included. Whenever possible, we'll hold it at the venue, but home, a park or somewhere else works too. I'll guide everyone through the processional, where to stand, music cues, readings and all the little details – and we'll have some fun while we're at it.
Everything you need for the ceremony
On the day, I'll bring the practical things needed to help your ceremony run smoothly, including a PA and microphone, Bluetooth speaker and music playback, signing table and chairs, signing pens, printed ceremony and copies for you to keep.
How long should a wedding ceremony be?
There's no right length. Around 20–30 minutes is typical, but yours can be shorter or longer depending on what you want to include. We'll create something that feels meaningful without feeling too long.
